		<description>Hello Jeremy,

I noticed your post on http://churchvideoideas.com/2008/09/03/google-apps/

I&#039;m in charge of overseeing IT issues in our small church. I while I&#039;d like to think I know a lot about IT stuff, I&#039;m weak in many areas. I recently became aware of Google Apps. I have a few questions to ask you. Feel free to not respond if this is out of your domain (no pun intended) or if you simple would rather not answer.

Background: Our church (www.grifonline.org) web page (very undeveloped) and email is hosted by Web.com. Our domain name is owned by Network Solutions. We&#039;re constantly running out of email space, so Google Apps seems like a good solution.

Questions:

1. Since we want to keep our same domain name for web and email, how would that work?

2. Would we need to contact Web.com and Network Solutions to let them know email, domain name and domain registration are changing to Google &amp; GoDaddy? Or does it happen automatically through the Google Apps application process?

3. Since Email is the first main thing we&#039;d change, how difficult would it be to migrate from our old email system/POP to Gmail, using the same domain we were using?

4. Web design: Our church needs to do something about web design. Google Apps also has Google Sites available. Are you familiar with Google Sites? Is it easy to work with? If we choose to use Google Sites, would we still be able to use our regular address to get there (www.grifonline.org)?

Thanks again. Feel free to be as brief as you want or to direct me somewhere else for answers.
